Yesterday we talked about myths and the different characteristics of myths. We know that they include a protagonist and hyperbole. Think about some other story elements like setting, plot or the important events in the story, characters (protagonist), and hyperbole. Hey, my title is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. The main character is Harry Potter and the author is J.K. Rowling. The genre is fantasy, and they are wizards... that's exaggeration so are hidden portals, giants, and nearly headless ghosts!!

ReplyDeleteGordan Korman. The genre is mystery because they are trying to find 39 clues to discover new things about Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The main characters are Dan and Amy Cahill because they are the ones who are doing the discovering. So far they ran into their cousins who are after Dan and Amy to beat them before they discover the secret. There is no exaggeration in this story but it is a very good book so far.
Hey I am reading the book Diary of a Wimpy Kid.The author is Jeff Kinney.If you read it you could tell that it is fiction.The main characters name is Greg and he thinks that his life is horrible so he explains that he is like the slave,but really he has a life anybody would take for example he says he does not get enough junk food even though he gets to chocolate bars per hour.I think he totally makes his little and older brothers sound horrible.You should read this book.;)

The book that I'm reading is called "the ghost of the blackwood hall." The author is Carolyn Keene. The genre is mystery! Also the protagonist is Nancy Drew. She was going to pick up a piece of silver she saw,but before she could she heard an agonizing scream cut though the silent woods! (No hyperbole in the story yet.)

The plot is at Harry's friends house and he just escaped from his uncles house in England.Yes there is some hyperbole in this story because there wizards so they talk weird about muggles (muggles are what they call humans). This is a very good so I recommend this great book. :)

DeleteI am reading Ruby Holler. The author is Sharon Creech. The genre is I think Fiction. The protagonist is Florida and Dallas. So far they were at the Boxton Creek Home for 13 years and this old couple gave them the opportunity for Dallas to get to go to Kangadoon, and for Florida to get to go to the Rutabago River. When they got there they thought it was paradise because they both get 5 dollars per hour.
